Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The young man who took our order was unbelievably rude. In regards to another review who said "People who claim the food is not good or service is rude are likely expecting the more common white western Panda Express type of Chinese." I really do not think this is the case. All I expect is to be treated at least indifferently when I am patronizing your business! The crab rangoon is terrible, and our meals were average. Do NOT waste your money here!

Just had dinner at this place for the first time. I think this will be my last time here. Really bad attitude of the waiter. We ordered the rib pot and szechuan chicken, which suppose to be something authebtic. Oh hell, they are far from there! foods are overpriced. I will NOT recommend this restaurant for u. If you happen to be wondering im this area for food, I suggest you go to the Little Ceasars next door!!!

This place is terrible and have a very bad attitude. I went with my boyfriend first time and we got mad with their horrible attitude. Second time I ask if they do delivery, they told me no; then they called me again said they are not busy so yes deliver. I told them what I want, and I said I want to pay with credit card, then they whispering a long time, told me they don't want to deliver! Seriously, you don't lie and treat ur customer like this.

Food is average to slightly below average compared to other similar restaurants. It is family owned and operated so I want it to be successful. To do that the food will have to change. I don't mind that they asked if I had cash. They aee a small business and every time they swipe a card they pay a fee. The lady wasn't rude about it though.

I would give this place 3 stars for food and 1 star for service and ambience. On the positive side, they have both a Chinese menu and an American-Chinese menu (e.g., beef with broccoli). Both menus are written in English. My Szechuan fish strips arrived quickly and they were tasty and spicy. On the negative side, we ordered 2 entrées (Szechuan fish strips and Moo Shu Chicken) and one milk tea and our bill was almost $33. We ordered at the counter and the guy who took our order acted as if he were doing us a favor. He was like a parody of hostile wait staff you would see on Saturday Night Live. When they brought the food to our table, the woman refilled my husband's water and that was the extent of the service. The decor was okay but the TV was blasting some Chinese movie which made conversation difficult. This place would probably be okay for takeout or if you like watching Chinese movies.

First, phone number: 765.743.7770 since I had a hard time finding it when I first ordered. Second, this place is great, and easily some of the best Chinese takeout I've had since moving to Indiana. All these "poor service" reviews are straight up racist, and just plain wrong. True, some of the staff doesn't speak or understand English super well, but they've all been nice and appreciative to me. The food is good, and their crab rangoons are particularly good in my opinion. I've already been a few times and will definitely be coming back. I haven't tried the noodle soups but they look good. Don't believe the haters, this place is worth it.

I just don't understand why they automatically add tips to my bill. We ordered @ the counter. No one ever came back and ask if the food is good. It is rude to enforce the amount of tips they preferred.

Poor service. Cashier is a young man and extremely rude. My dish was about 8 dollars and somehow the total magically totaled to 11:45. Automatically added tips, I think. Food is average. I am extremely disappointed and will not be visiting again.

This place sucks and the younger guy acted as a waiter and cashier has the worst attitude. Food is over priced that they trying to rip off large population of Chinese students here at Purdue. I wouldn't go again!!

Best Chinese food in Lafayette area. People who claim the food is not good or service is rude are likely expecting the more common white western Panda Express type of Chinese. If mass produced us style Chinese food is what you are looking for this is not the place for you.
